No Pipe Relining Job Is Too Big or Too Small For Us.
Depending on pipe diameter, pressure, temperature and residual strength, 2 different technologies are used for rehabilitation.
1. Cured in Place Pipe Lining (CIPP)
If the pipes are too badly deteriorated for spray on epoxy lining (discussed next), a long sleeve soaked in epoxy can be inflated inside the pipe and allowed to cure. This is called CIPP. It is much stronger than the spray on epoxy and has a 50 year warranty.
Examples of pipes that use CIPP would be cracked cast iron sewer drains, vertical rain drains and perforated corrugated storm drains. Here is a video showing what trenchless cured in place pipe lining looks like in a 4″ sewer pipe in a house in Concord.
2. SPRAY-ON Epoxy Pipe Lining Service in Concord
If the pipe is of large diameter (typically over 5cm), in good structural condition and is under high pressure or temperature, then an epoxy is sprayed onto the inside surface of the pipe using a rotating nozzle. The thickness is computer controlled and the pipes are typically pressure tested to ensure all leaks were sealed.
Typically used in force water mains, fire suppression pipes, chiller (cooling and heating) pipes.
With our robotic spray-on application systems, we offer the most advanced epoxy pipe lining system available anywhere. This technology has been successfully used for hundreds of miles of underground water mains worldwide. This superior epoxy application process can reline large-diameter pipes up to 1.6m inches and can go up to 150m linear feet in one pass. This allows for water mains to be restored without ripping up streets. The system is capable of applying multiple products and can be used for fuel lines under airport tarmacs.
Where Can Our Epoxy Pipe Lining Be Used in Concord?
Concord No Dig Trenchless Sewer / Drain Relining have revolutionized pipe restoration and has elevated industry standards with the introduction of our proprietary Robotic Spray Application systems designed for horizontal and vertical pipes which allows any pipe in high rise and low rise buildings to be relined with the same absolute precision as our Robotic Spray Application for underground pipes.
Epoxy Pipe Spray Inside PVC
This highly specialized technology, developed by a special team of engineers, has never been available until now. Our computerized system will calibrate and apply varying thicknesses of epoxy in the same pipe and can adjust to accommodate fittings. The end result is a uniform, perfectly smooth lining that improves and increases efficiency and prevents costly leaks, all without disturbing encapsulated building columns and ceilings. Pipes can be lined up to 700 feet at a time.
Advantages of Pipe Relining in Concord
Replacing pipes is 50% to 75% more expensive than lining them. Lining is a non-invasive process. There is no destruction to buildings or landscape. Reconstruction costs for repiping can be 60% of direct pipe repair costs and epoxy lining eliminates the need for reconstruction. Over time, up to 75% of the original flow capacity can be lost as result of corrosion leading to much higher energy bills. Restoring those pipes reduces energy costs.
SAFE AND DURABLE
Our pipe lining systems provide a safe and protective barrier between the pipe and the water, which prevents harmful elements from leaching into the water supply. We use a chemical resistant, non-toxic epoxy resin which has (NSF/ANSI-61) certification that is approved for drinking water. Testing engineers estimate the life expectancy of the epoxy is roughly 50 years and CIPP is 100 years.
In all cases, pipe lining takes a fraction of the time of traditional repiping methods.
MINIMAL DISRUPTION AND NO OCCUPANT DISPLACEMENT
Concord No Dig Trenchless Sewer / Drain Relining pipe restoration process is quick, quiet, non-invasive, and rarely requires displacement of a building’s occupants. For epoxy pipe lining, temporary bypass water systems are quickly installed to provide uninterrupted water service so that occupants, businesses, and clientele may continue business as usual.
Concord No Dig Trenchless Sewer / Drain Relining technologies can be applied in any metal pipe in any building, structure, or environment, above or below ground. This approach is used in the piping systems of hotels, high-rise Units / Appartments, hospitals, restaurants, airports, schools, museums, Navy ships and commercial and industrial businesses. Our solution is available for potable water pipes as well as hot water recirculation systems, fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems, chiller lines and HVAC systems.

But DO Your Sewer Pipes Need To Be Re-Lined?
Are you experiencing frequent sewage backups? Do you have to repeatedly pay the drain rooter company to unclog your drains? If so, you most likely have tree roots growing in your sewer pipe that grow back after the rooter company leaves, or you have cracked cast iron pipe where the bottom floor has rusted through to the soil. The remaining rough edges of cast iron keep catching on debris causing repeated blockages.
Are Your Sewer Lines Leaking Or Emitting Odours?
Vertical Condominium Pipes Rust & Crack Longitudinally
Cracked or broken cast iron allows sewer water and odours to escape, and allow termites to enter your house. The only permanent way to solve the problem is to replace the broken or cracked sewer pipe, or to install a new physical inner pipe lining.
No matter whether you have cast iron sewer pipes that are cracked or have missing pipe floors or clay sewer pipes with entire sections missing, sewer pipe lining is designed to form a new load-bearing durable inner pipe.
So What Exactly Is Drain Pipe Lining?
The new inner pipe lining is a long special fabric tube that has been wet out or saturated with a resin that hardens by itself within 2-4 hours. The new inner pipe only reduces the pipe diameter by about 5%, so flow is not affected, and the pipe lining material has a 100-year engineered life and typically comes with a 50 year warranty.

50-Year Engineered Lifespan! HTS Materials Testing & Quality Control
enviro-friendly Then they test the physical strength (see below), chemical resistance, heat, cold, environmentally friendly factors etc. to ensure that all the minimum standards are being maintained. From this the lining has an estimated 50 year lifespan.
How Strong Is The New Inner Pipe?
The final new inner pipe is designed for load-bearing pipes that are located under roads, railways and building footers. If, for example, a section of clay or cast-iron sewer pipe is missing, the new inner lining is designed to be a stand-alone pipe.
Pipe lining is the modern alternative to pipe replacement!
In fact, pipe lining IS pipe replacement
The new lining that is installed inside the old pipe is as strong as new pipe
Has a 50-year warranty
Only reduces the internal diameter by 5%
Only takes hours to install
Let’s not forget, since pipe lining requires no excavation, it is cleaner, less invasive and much faster than repiping the old-fashioned way.
Which Pipes Can Be ReLined?
Pipelining, also known as Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) is used for clay pipe replacement, cast iron pipe repair, HVAC pipe repair, storm drain replacement, golf-course overflow drainage pipes, drinking water lines, and sewer pipelining of sanitary sewer pipe.
What Type Of Warranty Comes With The Pipe Lining?
Sewer pipe lining comes with a 50-year materials and labour warranty.
Concord Vertical Sewer Stack & Rain Drain Pipe Lining
high-rise-vertical-stack-pipe-lining - after about 30 years the old vertical sewer pipes in apartment high rise Units / Apartments will rust and crack along the length of the pipe. The sewer water will leak into walls and cause some serious damage. Since all the building’s sewer stack have the same age and the same environmental conditions (water flow rates, materials, humidity), the remaining pipes soon leak after the first one. The easiest solution is apartment high rise condominium pipe lining.
Most apartment high rise Units / Apartments start off by making individual plumbing repairs by moving cabinets, mirrors etc. and cutting open concrete and drywall surfaces, replacing the leaking section of pipe, then repairing the wall or entire sections of walls if they had water damage.
A cleaner, faster and less expensive way to replace these vertical leaking stacks is by “cured-in-place pipe” lining (CIPP).
How Is Vertical Pipe Lining Installed?
lining sewer stacks from rooftop
Clean the apartment high rise condominium vertical pipes – there are essentially two ways to do this. The first, by using a high pressure water jetters, is somewhat dangerous as the brittle leaking cast iron pipes may leak or break allowing the high pressure water jetter to cause serious damage or even injury to residents! The second and more safe way is to use an assortment of proprietary steel brushes that are passed through the pipe allowing the corrosion and scale to fall to the bottom of the apartment high rise condominium pipe where it is collected and removed, by a plumber hired by the customer.
Use a CCTV pipe video inspection camera to measure the length of pipe lining needed and where the pipe connections are – these measurements are used to cut the new inner lining material to precise length, and to cut access point in the material for where incoming pipe connections are. So the entire length of pipe is lined, except for the small area where a pipe connection is. (there is a method used more rarely due to its cost and time consumption that lines the entire pipe, covering up incoming pipe connections, after which a robotic cutter is sent into the lined pipe to precisely cut open the pipe connections.
Once the fabric liner is cut to size, it is saturated with self-hardening resin. The pipe liner is then either pulled into the pipe or “shot” into the pipe with air and left to cure for 3-4 hours. It is only during this brief cure time that the apartment high rise condominium stack cannot be used by the residents in the apartments.
Once the liner is fully cured, the new apartment high rise condominium pipe is video inspected to make sure installation was perfect.
Vertical Roof Drain Pipe Lining
Of course apartment high rise condominium roof drains eventually corrode too and will leak into walls. These pipes are much easier to reline because there are few or no pipe connections to take into consideration. The installation process is the same as for vertical waste stacks
Concord Storm Drain Cured In Place Pipe Lining (Cipp)
Storm drain restored by cured in place pipe lining
Corrugated and concrete storm drains and culverts deteriorate allowing sand infiltration and resulting ground settlement. In one day we can clean and re-line the storm drains saving downtime, money and mess.
Advantages Of CIPP In Storm Drains
Replacing pipes is often 50% to 75% more expensive than lining them. Lining is a non-invasive process. There is no destruction to buildings or landscape. Reconstruction costs for repiping can be 60% of direct pipe repair costs and storm drain CIPP lining eliminates the need for reconstruction.
Safe and Durable
Our storm sewer drain pipe lining has a 50-year warranty and is approved by the EPA, NSF, FDA and IAPMO.
storm sewer CIPP lining takes a fraction of the time of traditional repiping methods. Our continuous lining installation of up to 1,000′ takes 30-minutes, followed by dry steam curing.
No Traffic Disruption
Since roads, railways and runways are not excavated, traffic flow can continue unabated.
Since the lining conforms to the shape of the host pipe, any shape (oval, rectangular etc.) can be rehabilitated.
No Annular Space For Water Infiltration
Since we use air-inversion to install the liner, the resin faces the host pipe and completely seals off any holes, cracks or missing host pipe sections, thereby stopping all water infiltration.
Concord - Sewer Main Line Cured In Place Pipe Lining
Water infiltration in sewer mains suffer from water infiltration into their sewer main lines and the connected laterals from properties. The increased water inflow creates a dramatic increase in waste water processing costs at the sewer plants.
Also, during extended high water table levels (during hurricanes etc), the flow can be so dramatic that waste water processing becomes impossible which results in sewer effluent being discharged into lakes, rivers and other water bodies.
Also, our materials meet the most rigorous requirements and carry a 50-year warranty.
Municipal Lateral Pipe Lining – By Air Inversion (One Access Point)
Our air inversion pipe lining process for laterals requires only one access point from which the lining is air inverted and then “dry” steam cured in 30 minutes! We can literally do 20 laterals a day. Learn more about our lateral pipe lining process.
Concord No Dig Trenchless Sewer / Drain Relining also offer “end seals” that eliminate the need for expensive grouting to prevent water infiltration. This patented technology consists of a very hygroscopic rubber ring that swells extensively should it come into contact with water! It is compatible with all cured-in-place-pipe systems.
Top Hat System – To Seal Lateral to Main Line Connections
To prevent further infiltration we also offer the “top hat” lining system that completely seals the connection where the sewer lateral line joins the sewer main line.
